Worapoj founded CHOSEN Technology in 2001, shortly after graduating, as an IT solutions company specializing in Industrial Inspection Solutions. In 2022, he launched CHOSEN Digital as a spin-off focused on EV and Energy Modernization. His academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Internet and e-Commerce.
Background and Vision
Worapoj CHOSEN is an electric vehicle (EV) and new energy enthusiast with a strategic vision aimed at establishing a software platform that includes IoT infrastructure tailored for district energy consumption monitoring and load management, particularly for EVs, alongside energy trading endeavors. Under his leadership, CHOSEN Digital has become a distinguished startup, formalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Thailand Government and the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) for a pilot project at PEA's head office. Additionally, CHOSEN Digital collaborates with National Telecom (NT) for national server, communication, and security solutions, positioning itself as a pioneering entity in this domain.
Thought Leadership
Worapoj is a recognized national speaker, keynote speaker, and panelist in Thailand's energy and EV field. He serves as a special lecturer in IT and Electrical Engineering for PhD and Master’s degree programs. He also contributed to the digital landscape as the webmaster of Jabchai.com, one of Thailand's top 20 most popular websites in 2016, an initiative he started while pursuing his Master’s degree.
